Ahuofe AKA Ghana Tupac, Dies Hours After Going Live On TikTok
According to reports, Ahuofe, a well-known TikTok personality from Ghana also known as Ghana Tupac, has passed away in Kumasi.
It has been reported that Ahuofe, who resided in Oforikrom in Kumasi, gained a considerable following on TikTok by imitating the persona of the deceased American rapper, Tupac Amaru Shakur, and earned the affection of numerous fans.
Known by his moniker ‘Ghana Tupac’, the social media personality frequently adopts a ‘gangster’ persona, and has managed to attract an impressive 3.9 million followers on TikTok. In a relatively brief period of time, he has also accumulated a staggering 39.8 million views across 217 videos on the platform.
Jay Bahd, a popular Ghanaian rapper and musician, took to Twitter to share the news of Ahuofe’s passing. He posted a video of the TikTok personality enjoying one of his songs, and captioned it with the words, “Life is too short. Rest well, Ahuofe. You will be forever missed.”
While the circumstances surrounding Ahuofe’s death remain unclear and no official statement has been released by his family, some reports suggest that he passed away at night after broadcasting live on the app. There are also unconfirmed rumors that his death may have been caused by a drug overdose.
