Davido, the renowned Nigerian superstar, has finally released his long-awaited fourth studio album, Timeless, on March 31, 2023.
This album is his latest project since his critically acclaimed album, A Better Time, in 2020, which produced chart-topping hits like “FEM,” “Holy Ground,” and “The Best.”
Timeless showcases Davido’s artistic versatility and growth as he explores diverse genres and sounds ranging from Afrobeats to Amapiano and R&B.
Notably, the album features collaborations with an impressive lineup of talented artists, including Skepta, Angelique Kidjo, Asake, The Cavemen, Focalistic, and Dexta Daps from Jamaica.
In November 2021, the album’s lead track, “Champion Sound” which features Focalistic, was released and immediately gained popularity throughout Africa and other regions.
Davido revealed the arrival of Timeless through his social media accounts, stating:
“At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least. I recall sitting and staring over the ocean not too long ago, wondering if I could get here again, after all I’ve been through… but with your love and support, we made it. I’m not sure what comes after this but I wanted to give you my heart, soul and energy. Today I present you “TIMELESS”. ⏳
