WAEC discontinues manual certificate confirmation for WASSCE candidates.

According to a statement made by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), manual confirmation and stamping of certificates for candidates who took the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) from 1999 till the present will no longer be offered.

This is a result of the recently developed WAEC Digital Certificate Platform, which was created to offer a seamless and prompt method of making applicants’ certificates available to stakeholders.

The council invited institutions, organizations, agencies, embassies, high commissions, and the general people to use the digital certificate platform created to reduce the bottlenecks caused by the manual access and confirmation method in a statement made by the council.

Access, download, and sharing are all possible for applicants via the WAEC Digital Certificate Platform.
